NDSM NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!
In September, NDSM is adding a second four-morning-a-week day ESL
( English-as-a-Second-Language) program. If you have a command of English, a desire to enrich your life, and a respect for diversity, then NDSM needs you! Volunteering requires a three-hour-per-week commitment – one hour preparation; two hours (9:00-11:00 a.m.) teaching is required. The fall semester runs from Mid-September to early December; the spring semester from Mid-January to early May.
Teachers are wanted for both the current Holy Cross Lutheran Church location on Marsh Lane, south of Forest, and the new site at a location nearby. Please contact Trish Houck – TrishHouck@aol.com.
If you are interested in teaching Tuesday or Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 at NDSM, please contact Mae Schwalb at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, NDSM is desperate for volunteer primary care providers – MD’s, PA’s, NP’s – to see adult patients on Tuesday and Thursday evenings a minimum of one time per month. Medical malpractice insurance is provided. If interested in this opportunity, please contact Susan Block at email@example.com.
