Welcome Guest Preacher, Rabbi Andrew Marc Paley from Temple Shalom, on Sunday, November 3, 2024 during the 10:30 am Church Service. Everyone is invited after the service for an open discussion with Rabbi Paley and Father Christopher beginning at Noon in the Parish Hall. All are welcome to attend!

Rabbi Andrew Paley is the Senior Rabbi and Spiritual Leader of Temple Shalom, a Reform congregation, in Dallas, Texas and began his tenure in 2004. Ordained in 1995, Rabbi Paley holds a Master’s Degree in Hebrew Letters and a Doctor of Divinity, Honoris Causa from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion and Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Ohio State University. He is also a Prepare/Enrich certified marital and premarital counselor.

Over the past several years Rabbi Paley has included local and federal law enforcement chaplaincy work to his efforts as he is a Dallas Police Chaplain and Chair of the Dallas Police Chief’s Multi-Faith Advisory Council, a Chaplain with the Dallas Field Office of the FBI, and Chaplain with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency of the Department of Homeland Security.

Rabbi Paley is active in the city of Dallas as a member of the Good Neighbor Task Force of the City of Dallas District 12, a founding member and past Chair of Faith Forward Dallas@ThanksgivingSquare, a member of the Community Advisory Board of Sammons Cancer Research Center at UTSW Medical Center and a member of the Muslim/Jewish Advisory Council of the Dallas Chapter of The American Jewish Committee.

Rabbi Paley has served as a mentor for rabbinic colleagues in congregations around the country as well as to rabbinical students in seminary.

Rabbi Paley has edited two prayer books, one for the Sabbath and one for families for the High Holy days.

Rabbi Paley is married to Deborah Niederman and is the father of Molly, and Samuel and is a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan!
