Three Parishes Join Together

The parishes of Transfiguration, Ascension, and St. Thomas the Apostle join together at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension for this beloved service of songs and readings honoring the season of Christian anticipation.

Passport to Christmas | 3:00 – 4:45 pm
Attendees will get to experience Christmas traditions from all around the world as they “travel” from country to country. They’ll enjoy making a unique craft and getting a stamp in their passport in each country!
Lessons & Carols | 5:00 – 6:00 pm
The Transfiguration Choir accompanied by Jonathan Gregoire under the direction of Joel Martinson will sing various carols and motets between lessons read by representatives of the three parishes. Advents hymns, chants, and carols will be sung by the congregation, and a festive reception of home-baked holiday treats will follow the service.
